Schedule Changes Due to Inclement Weather
During inclement weather such as snow or ice, the ROC will follow our church snow policy. If the church is closed due to inclement weather then the ROC will also be closed. During times of inclement weather, be sure to call the church office at 423.477.4484 to check on athletic activities to see if they are still on schedule.
Membership At The ROC
The ROC is an open facility. It is available to anyone whether a member of TCBC or not. To use the facility, every individual that is not already a member of TCBC must fill out a form available at the Reception Counter in the main lobby.
A visitor does not have to join the ROC to be on the premises so long as he is only there as a spectator. Visitors are expected to remain in specific areas where their group is participating and do not have access to the entire facility.
There is no membership fee to join the ROC. However, fees for individual programs (Ex: Upward Basketball, aerobic classes, etc...) may be required.
Entering the Facility
Though there are several doors that give access to the ROC, the doors located at the bottom of the stairs descending from the main parking lot are considered the front entrance. All participants must use these doors to enter and exit the facility except in the case of an emergency.
Upon entering the facility, you should sign in at the reception counter - located just inside the main entrance. It is the responsibility of our ROC staff to monitor all activity within the ROC.
Children
Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18 and above) whether parent, guardian, or designee. Exceptions would include special programs for under-aged children where supervision will be provided. This is not a drop off facility - all children must be properly supervised!
First Aid/Emergencies
First Aid supplies are located at the Reception Counter. In the event of an emergency, A ROC staff member should be notified immediately. Please report any injuries or suspicious activities to one of the ROC staff.
Equipment
All communications equipment behind the Reception Counter is for use by the ROC staff only.
All sports equipment will be issued from the Reception Counter by ROC staff only. A valid ID (which will be redeemed when the equipment is returned in good shape) is required to check out any equipment.
Lost & Found
Use of the ROC facility or it’s equipment will be at the risk of the participant. TCBC does not assume responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged items. Lost and found items will be held for 30 days and will be returned to the owner upon request when properly identified. Following the 30-day time period all unclaimed articles will be disposed of based upon the discretion of the ROC staff. Participants are encouraged to put their names on all personal items for easy identification.
Dress Codes & Behavior
Our goal and desire is to honor God in every aspect of our ministry. We ask that you adhere to the following guidelines in your participation at the ROC.

- Fighting - Fighting or horseplay will not be tolerated and is subject to automatic loss of privileges at the ROC.
- Discipline - Willful violation of any policy concerning the ROC could lead to a loss of privileges at the ROC.
- Stewardship - God has blessed us with this facility for the purpose of ministry. It is our desire to take good care of what God has provided so that this facility will honor Him and provide many years of service for His kingdom purposes. Misuse of equipment and furnishings, or lack of respect for the building itself will be subject to loss of privileges. All sports equipment must be checked out at the Reception Counter. Please do not bring personal equipment into the building. Hanging or climbing on the basketball rims, nets, or supports will not be tolerated. Objects should not be thrown to or from the walking track area.

The ROC Shower Facilities
Showers are available in both the men’s and women’s restrooms for anyone who comes prepared to clean up after a sporting event or a workout in this facility. The ROC cannot be responsible for any items left in the shower area. For safety reasons it is especially important for children to be closely supervised by a responsible adult while in this area.
