Church Administrator
Gene Mermilliod has served Tri-Cities in several capacities since its beginning in 1990, but now he focuses totally on the oversight of our finances and the development of our campus and its facilities. His sound judgment, unquestioned character, and attention to detail allow him to serve in this capacity with excellence and great effectiveness. Although he is a Florida Gator fan from California, Gene had the good sense to marry his delightful wife, Gayle, in 1981. They have five sons, one daughter and one daughter-in-law.

Minister of Students
Josh Carter serves as our Minister of Students. His heart for evangelism and soul-winning coupled with his commitment to building a biblical foundation for students brings a refreshing dynamic to student ministry. He understands the culture, but he is not consumed by it. Instead he exercises the Godward discipline necessary to help students develop a biblical worldview and to fulfill God’s purpose for their lives. And besides that, the students love Josh…everyone loves Josh. Speaking of love, he is married to the bright and always delightful Amy. They have one Bichon Frise (that’s a small dog) named Paxton.

Director of Preschool Ministries
Sharon Arredondo oversees our ministry to preschoolers. As the median age of our church has dropped to 29, Sharon has her hands full with dozens of bed-babies and scores of toddlers. Her love for kids, sensitivity to overwhelmed parents, gentle disposition, and great organizational skills allow her to create a safe and encouraging atmosphere so that even the youngest child can experience the love of Jesus Christ. She loves horses, the Texas Longhorns, her husband John and their son and daughter…but not necessarily in that order.

Children's Minister
Mr Charlie has a passion to see children come to know Christ as their friend and Savior. Some say he makes a good Children's Minister because he never got past the age of 12! Mr. Charlie is married to the most beautiful Ann, and has two children, Lara and Shelby. And yes, he married above his station! He has spent the last 19 years working in Consumer Electronics for both Phillips and Toshiba but his excitement for children's ministry has changed his vocation and location. The Gatton's are extremely excited to be serving Christ, the children and their parents though Tri-Cities Baptist Church.
