About Church Multiplication

Tri-Cities Baptist Church wants to plant where there are no churches in a given community, neighborhood within a greater city and plant in places where healthy churches are needed. Church planting it is the natural outflow of evangelical gospel-preaching churches that are making disciples and sending them to make disciples. Church planting comes out of a #Share1515 culture.

What Is A Sending Church That Plants Churches?

A Sending Church proactively discovers, develops, and deploys church planters. By proactive we mean that we make a long-term commitment to help multiply healthy, evangelical, and gospel-centered churches. The Sending Church partners with the church planter in prayer, participation, and giving, and by taking responsibility for the plant until the plant moves towards becoming self-sustaining. Therefore, it is a significant investment (funding, coaching, supporting) on the part of the Sending Church.

What is Our Church Planting Focus?

We will strategically partner with The Send Network to assess, equip, send, support, and coach church planters and their teams. In the West, we desire to focus our church planting efforts in 2 Send Cities: Portland, Oregon and Denver, Colorado. Tri-Cities is sending church planters and their teams to each of these cities with a vision to partner together long-term with those churches to multiply the gospel, disciples, and leaders, resulting in more churches planted in these two great cities.

We also desire to see churches planted in our regional area as well as other cities that desperately need gospel-centered evangelical churches.
